Overview:

The Sales Support Intern will work closely with our Sales & Marketing Teams to learn about and assist in managing client sales engagements. This unique opportunity will provide hands-on experience in the full sales lifecycle including prospecting, business development, lead qualification, solutioning, proposals, negotiations, and post sales account management. Additionally, the intern will support creating sales presentations for client pursuits and on-going sales campaigns and lead generation programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for outreach.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a database of leads through various channels, including online research and networking.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including data entry, CRM management, and document preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and social media to schedule appointments and product demonstrations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide valuable insights to the sales team.
  • Assist in preparing reports and summaries of market research findings to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine sales strategies, including target customer segments and messaging.
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute ideas to optimize sales processes and achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Interest in technology sales, account development/management, client relationships, and marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
